Ellie graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2018 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2019. She was subsequently called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2020. Ellie gained extensive experience in conveyancing, particularly in property-related acquisitions and disposals. She also practised in civil litigation, handling matrimonial proceedings, will drafting and estate distribution matters. Currently, Ellie specializes in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory. She has advised clients across various industries, including real estate, fintech, and technology startups. Her key experience includes: a). Performing due diligence and assessment of regulation compliance of companies. b). Advising on merger and acquisition transactions. c). Participating in public listed companies' (PLC) corporate exercises. d). Assisting in a company listing on Bursa Malaysia. e). Providing legal counsel to developers in joint venture dealings with landowners. f). Handling developer property transactions and sub-sale property transactions.
